I have a bit of an obsession with quotes (properly contextualized, of course). One in particular which has always struck me is Walt Disney’s “if you change they way you look at things, the things you look at change.” I believe you should always look out at the world with a curious but nonetheless critical eye -evaluating its decisions, its causes and effects, its origins and its headings. Be willing, at any moment, to cast away even your most strongly held beliefs for a new one that better fits what you see happening around you in the world that is and the world that you could make be. I call it having a motospective.
